What is Assert?

Assert is a platform that is reimagining how teams collaborate around code, beginning with how we view and dissect code changes. Assert is built to meet programmers and teams where they are today, which is why we are built on top of git and integrate with GitHub. Most code is now written by agents, and pull requests have grown to match. Assert groups every change into reviewable units, renders UI changes on screen, keeps branches current without local rebases, and sends review feedback back to a coding agent.

Core features

Reviewable units

Every pull request is grouped into clusters of related changes, so you review one logical change at a time.

Previews

Live renders of changed UI, with comments that map back to the diff.

Merge candidates

When your base branch moves ahead, Assert merges it, resolves conflicts in a sandbox, and updates the branch in one click.

Agents

Send review comments to Claude, Cursor, or Devin.
